Hooray for Dearborn Garden Meetings

Things I learned today:

+ When pruning back Buddleya, prune back to the trunk.  One of the Dearborn gardeners, who is also a F.U.F. volunteer, told me this.
+ The cute little weed I've been wondering about is one of the bleeding hearts, and it's called Dicentra. Frank told me this.  Cute little white flowers, feathery foliage.  Wikipedia told me it's part of Papaveraceae (the Poppy Family of course) and that it's poisonous.  Note to self: pull it out!
+ When a common mallow has rust, pull it out, it's contagious!  Frank told me this as well.

I love fellow gardeners! :-)
